Kiri (Paulownia), native to China and widely cultivated in Japan and Korea. Among the fastest-growing trees in the world, it can grow several meters in a single year, producing a remarkably light wood. In Japanese tradition, the kiri holds deep cultural significance and is associated with prosperity, renewal, and good fortune. Legend holds that the phoenix descends only upon this tree, making it a symbol of dignity and harmony. Collected in 2021
